Note: This schedule is subject to change, and likely WILL change due to Bandfest assignments, Disney Parade scheduling and other factors. There is also a separate Friends & Family Trip and an option for just New Year’s Day for the parade and banquet. See trip comparison below.
- Saturday, December 27, 2025 – Flight to CA, visit LA’s Farmers Market, Medieval Times, evening rehearsal
- Sunday, December 28, 2025 – Disneyland Parade Performance, visit Disneyland and California Adventure
- Monday, December 29, 2025 – Rehearsal, visit Huntington Beach, dinner at Buca di Beppo
- Tuesday, December 30, 2025 – Bandfest performance of our 2025 show, Rose Bowl photo, dinner and dance
- Wednesday, December 31, 2025 – visit Universal Studios Hollywood, dinner at hotel, watch East Coast NYE ball drop
- Thursday, January 1, 2026 – Tournament of Roses Parade, dinner, event at Cars Land
- Friday, January 2, 2026 – Flight home to IND

Trip FAQs
Q: Can adults go on the trip without being a chaperone?
A: Yes, there will be a Friends & Family trip separate from the student trip. This trip will have several performances and logistics that created the need to have a separate trip.
Q: Will siblings be allowed to attend?
A: Yes. On the Friends & Family trip separate from the student trip.
Q: If families do not go on the official trip can they still opt into activities?
A: The New Year’s Day Package is the only activity available for anyone not traveling on the Band trip or the Friends & Family Trip.
Q: When will we have a “drop dead” cost of the trip?
A: 30 days prior to departure, standard for all Music Travel Consultants trips.
Q: Will chaperones need to monitor the halls at night or will there be security hired similar to other trips?
A: No, chaperones will not need to monitor the halls.
Q: Do trip chaperones receive entrance to all events and activities that the band does?
A: Yes. Chaperones will receive a Bandfest ticket to watch from the stands, as well as an Area 1 ticket for the parade to watch with the Friends & Family.
Q: Are there other trip expenses that are not covered by the student/parent trip fees?
A: Yes. There are expenses for transporting equipment to and from Pasadena. Trucks, fuel, insurance, driver hotel rooms, etc.
Q: Will the flights be commercial or charter?
A: The trip is being planned with commercial flights as the priority choice. This is not yet finalized.
Q: Are we taking props on the trip?
A: Yes. The props will be used when we perform our 2025 show at Bandfest.
Q: Where will trip chaperones watch the parade?
A: Area 1 with the Friends & Family.
Q: Where will people on the separate trip watch the parade?
A: Area 1. All Friends & Family Travelers, Chaperones on the Band Trip, and New Year’s Day Package travelers will be seated in Area 1.
