The Sound of Brownsburg Marching Band was selected as one of only nine bands to march in the 2021 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. Our students will not only be representing our community, but the entire state of Indiana. This is an incredible honor and a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity!
Due to the costs associated with this trip, Brownsburg Band & Orchestra Parents, Inc. (BBOP) has established the M2M2021 Fund (March To Macy’s 2021 Fund). Overall, we have estimated the cost for transportation, room, and board to exceed $300,000 (roughly $1600 per student).
Our goal is to make sure money is never a reason for a child to miss out on something they passionately wish to pursue, and we desire that all Brownsburg High School band students have an opportunity to participate in this trip. All money given to the M2M2021 Fund will go directly to offset student fees for this trip. We are a 501c3 non-profit, which allows all donations to be tax deductible.
