Ed Roush
Ed Roush has been a music educator for the past 31 years in the states of Colorado, Texas, Hawaii and Indiana. He has taught students at the elementary, middle, junior and high school levels as well as being on the education team of multiple drum and bugle corps. Mr. Roush formerly served as one of the Director of Bands at Hamilton Southeastern High School in Fishers, Indiana.
During his teaching career Mr. Roush has been a part of 2 Drum Corps International World Championships, a finalist at Bands of America Grand National Championships, 16 Colorado Bandmasters Association State Band Championships, 3 Colorado Bandmasters Association State Concert Band Honor selections, 2 Rose Bowl Parade performances and 2 London New Year’s Day Parades. He was awarded the 2009 School, Band and Orchestra Magazine’s National “50 Teachers Who Make a Difference” annual award as Colorado’s representative.
Bands taught by Mr. Roush have played for the leaders and presidents of Canada, Japan, Germany, France, the United Kingdom, European Union, Russia, Italy and the United States of America. Mr. Roush has served as a faculty member at the Bands of America Summer Symposium for the past 25 years. He has also been a member of the brass educational staff at The Cavaliers, Crossmen and Santa Clara Vanguard.
