Bands of America Northeast Regional- UNIVERSITY OF TOLEDO, OHIO – Marching Band

The marching band will travel to Ohio to compete in the BOA Northeast Regional.

Saturday, October 2 Schedule – Bands of America Toledo
5:30AM – Arrive at Brownsburg High School
6:00 – Depart Brownsburg High School
10:00 – Arrive at the University of Toledo
11:50 – In the Block
1:15 – Preliminary Performance
4:30 – Preliminary Awards
– Should we advance to finals that evening, we will send the schedule out via Remind101.
5:15 – Dinner at the Stadium – Provided by BBOP
7:30 – Finals Performances Begin
10:45 – Finals Awards Ceremony
~12:00AM – Depart the University of Toledo
~4:00AM – Arrive at Brownsburg High School
Dinner provided by BBOP will be Subway and/or Jimmy Johns (sandwiches). If your student prefers to have another option we suggest you pack that for the trip. It is also possible to bring them food if you will be in Toledo for the performance.
We will be taking charter buses to Toledo. Students can bring their own food and drinks for the ride. Pillows and blankets are fine as well. However, we ask that parents help us make sure the students are intelligent with those choices. They need to be in a good, healthy place when we arrive at Toledo. Ideally, students will rest on the way to Toledo. Please do not load up on too much caffeine, sugar, etc. We do not need students having a Mountain Dew drinking contest on the drive up there. The last thing we need is students “crashing” when we arrive at Toledo. The students are also responsible for cleaning up their belongings when we arrive at Brownsburg High School at 4:00AM on Sunday.
On our return trip, parents will receive a text via Remind101 when we are in the Brownsburg area/about 20 minutes away. PLEASE BE HERE TO GET YOUR STUDENT UPON OUR ARRIVAL. The last thing any staff or volunteers want to do a 4:00AM is wait for a late pickup.

BAG POLICY
Music for All encourages spectators to not bring bags into venues. Pending each venues specific guidelines small bags, clear bags and emergency medical bags may be permitted. Bag policies are effective to expedite entry into venues and provide additional safety. Spectators will be allowed to bring items such as cameras provided, they are not in cases that would violate the bag policy at that venue.

Music for All will follow local requirements for safety and policies at the time of the event for spectators. Policies and guidelines will be posted on this show page prior to the event.
